Issue with Page Lists?

Hey guys,

For reasons I cannot figure out, I cant duplicate the results Im trying to within the same theme on different servers.

This is the way the page list is displaying right now:

Im trying to make it pull content forward from the pages to look like this:http://imgur.com/2F4sKFi

Any and all insight appreciated - Ive been poking around for hours trying to figure it out.
