issues with fb simple gallery

Hello All,
I am trying to add a FB Simple gallery to my site and I am getting the following error:

Simple Facebook Gallery Error

Please check you have entered the correct album ID or the album is not set to private

To find the album ID open the album you wish to add and copy number between the first set of periods in the URL after set=a

e.g.

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150146071791729.324257.2...
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /hsphere/local/home/bigran64/nulocnaturalhair.com/packages/slayer1551_facebook_gallery/blocks/slayer1551_facebook_gallery/view.php on line 21

If anyone has had this issue I would appreciate any help with getting this matter resolved.
Please advise,
Thank you
Randall

Have you checked to make sure that the photo album on fb is set to 'Public'?

Are you sure you entered the correct album id? (All you need is the number... nothing else)

On fb, double click on the long number and it should highlight it for you. Copy and past that into the add-on.

It says on the add-on page-

"To add an album all you need is the album ID.

1. Browse to your facebook album you wish to add and ensure that it is set to public

2. Copy the album ID which is the set of numbers located after 'set=a' between the two periods e.g

http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150146071791729.324257.2...

When you add a new album or change the thumbnail settings it may appear as nothing is happening however please allow time for the addon to copy the files from Facebook and generate the thumbnails to you local cache. This may take a while if your album has alot of photos.

Please note as of yet it will only work with Facebook pages as these do not require permission from Facebook to access them as they are public."

Try deleting the block, publish the page, clear your C5 cache, re-add the block again; wait for it to completely load before publishing the page (be patient as this may take a while.. it looks like nothing is happening but it is. It may take a long time if you have a lot of photos)

Hey Wagdi,

Thanks Again!

I followed all the steps you provided and it still gives me the same error:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /hsphere/local/home/bigran64/nulocnaturalhair.com/packages/slayer1551_facebook_gallery/blocks/slayer1551_facebook_gallery/view.php on line 21

I dont understand what the problem could be I have been trying to get this corrected but to no avail

The foreach bug crops up when it tries to loop through outputting an empty list.

I filed a support request on this several months ago, but have heard nothing.

I'm sorry that didn't help. Maybe someone else with more experience with the fb gallery add-on can chip in?

As all else had failed; I would open a support ticket with the developer.

You can do that by going to the add-on page and click on 'Support' on the right sidebar.

Keep us updated when you find a solution. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.
