Issues with Packages?..
Hey Guys,
I am having issues with Packages, when i try to install a new package after adding the package "advertisement" to the /package/ directory nothing shows up. However, when i transfer the "advertisement/blocks/advertisement" folder to the "/blocks" folder it shows up.
It seems like my system can install blocks easily but is not reading Packages correctly..
Anyone knows why i am having these issues?. btw, this is a modified c5 5.3.1.1. so the code somewhere might be incorrect or a typo somewhere.
I appreciate all help...

yeah prolly upgrade. 5.3.2 has changes around this process and if you've been tinkering in there its hard to know how to help.
That may just be a typo in your post, but the name of the directory is /packages
Another thing to check is the permissions of that directory, it should be readable by your web server's user (possibly: apache, www or nobody)
If you kept your modifications outside of the core /concrete folder you should definitely upgrade to 5.3.2 - it's definitely better.
