Hi there,
i am a total noob when it comes to jquery/ajax etc. Basically what I am trying to do is find a form that i can easily customize. I have a form on my current site that i have styled with css/sprites and i really need it to function as a basic email registration form. currently it's just launching an email to hold me over.
with a bit of work, do you think what you have provided could turn out to be what i am looking for?
many thanks in advance.

I don't think so. This is just a modification to beautify the form validation to make the forms more user friendly.
If you are wanting to capture emails into a registration form that you can later send mass emails to, I would recommend using mailchimp or something like that and then place the registration form widget on your site.
Hope that helps.

thanks for the response.
i am pretty happy with how C5 logs all submissions in the reports section. that would suit my client well. he can export and excel file himself and do what he likes with it. i just want to get the standard form to look like mine, but i am clueless on custom blocks - more-so on styling a custom block.
i have no idea if that makes any sense at all?
thanks again.

Understood. You will probably want to research this plugin:http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/extended-form/...
Or you can modify the view.css file in the form block.
