Left Sidebar Page List
Permalink
I'm just learning C5.
Our website was ported over by someone into C5 who is no longer available.
The left sidebar has the navigation and there are two problems:
1. Page called Services is listed first before Home, even though sidebar is set to display in Sitemap order
2. Page list includes an extra entry called Makeup Policy IN ADDITION to the legitimate existing page called Makeup Policy.
I've spent some hours searching all the different directories and files for where that extra entry Makeup Policy might be but to no avail.
Thanks for any help.

Have you based this off the Sitemap on the dashboard? I figure some rearranging the pages on the sitemap should do the trick. Or/And making the Makeup Policy not available on nav.
Thank you for your input!
Yes, there is only one Makeup Policy on the Dashboard Sitemap.
Yet there is a second entry in the sidebar.
A clue may be that the person porting the site over did some behind the scenes stuff to make the formatting of the sidebar match the original site.

Perhaps another clue for us here is the way Home is the second entry in the sidebar, not the first.
Nav looks to be coded in, not ordered by Concrete. See error on about line 144 for Makeup policy in attachment.
Both issues should be easy to edit. Cut and paste for switching first two page links. Erase the extra Makeup entry

MY!
Thank you for this.
Interesting BOTH are happening, because I can reorder the page list in Edit Mode and see changes.
Hmmm...why just those two at the top ignoring C5?
Anyway, you've given this beginner a lot of fertile ground to dig. I bow.
