I promise I searched this several times over -- I am attempting to lock down the permissions of areas in page types. Basically I want to limit the type of content that can be added to a give page based on the page type. Simple enough. Advanced permissions are enabled.

I created a group called "editors" and only allowed them to add the content block type to pages. I've logged in as a fake "editors" group user and still can add any type of block I want. I've cleared site cache, even built new pages and all to no avail.

Help! :)
