Logging out on homepage

Hi - I'm having an issue on a site where I have advanced permissions enabled and people login to a members area. What seems to be happening is that I can go into edit mode but when I click on the home page it logs me out. Any ideas what is happening here...

Maybe check to make sure the links you are using aren't full urls (eghttp://www......). This was casuing my site to trigger the login page when caching was disabed.
