Lost my Heading information when I upgraded Concrete5

I upgraded my old website to the newest version of Concete5. And after doing the update I have lost my logo and title and flash content on the top of the page (that is global). What do I do now? I am working on updating my site but for right now, I want it to look right.

What version was your site on before the update and how did you go about updating it?

I'm not sure. I updated to 5.6.2.1

You have to update an old site in baby steps. You can't leap from 5.4 -> 5.6.2.1 all at once. Also, the templates that were designed for 5.4 need to be altered to work properly in newer versions.

Did you do the update yourself? If so, you must remember what steps you took to update your site.

When I signed into my site, there was that information panel from Concete5. There was a note to update my site and 2 new add ons. I hit the update button. Then went to my site and saw the headings gone. I just don't remember which version I had when I update.

So...can I just make a new heading in this new version then? Right now in the heading space it just says the "logo" but no logo. Can I just get rid of this and put in something new?

Is there a live URL we could look at?

Hummm... it seems the page is looking for the images inside the [root]/update... path instead of the [root]/themes... path.

Here's where it's looking:

http://www.vitalsignsministries.org/updates/concrete5.6.2.1_updater...

Here's where the images are:

http://www.vitalsignsministries.org/themes/vsm/images/VSM%20Xara%20...

It could be a change in the the way the theme path is detected. The old version of concrete5 may be using an incorrect (deprecated) way to detect the path to the theme. Someone will have to look at the theme files through FTP to determine how to fix this.
