Make blog fit my template

I have followed jordanlev's tutorial on manually setting up a blog page. But the default blog is wider than my page template.

What do I need to do to make my stylesheet apply to the blog page?

You need to assign a page type on that main Blog page like Left Sidebar, Right Sidebar or anything else that you want.
