Making a website private - how?

I have a client who has a travel blog website. He will be going through a few dangerous areas. What is the easiest way to convert my open c5 website to a subscription based one?

You might want to look at the add-on at http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/lerteco-membership-comm... I haven't used it but it seems it would meet your needs.

Use permissions!

Just login in dashboard and set permission for each page there. In Who can view this page secction remove the checkbox from user and if you have any groups to whom you want to show that page make that checkbox checked.
