Making Registration form responsive

I am using the excellent Popup Login addon which works well on phones. However, if people need to register, the standard registration form isn't phone-friendly.

Can I hack the css to make this work without breaking the core functionality?

you could copy register.php to your root single_pages folder and modify it to your liking also.
