Manage Employees and Information on website

I am trying to figure out if this could be done...hope I can explain it well enough.
I own a photography company and I have multiple photographers that work for me going to different events (usually multiple photographers at one event). I know how to create users and groups and all, but I was wondering if there was an addon that would help manage my employees, maybe be able to post on their profile page what they have been paid for, and help keep track of events they have signed up to go work at.
If you know of anything that might meet all or some of these requests, please let me know what it is.

What's wrong with users? You can assign them to groups and create attributes to manage all the information you need. You can even create new attribute types in case you have something more complex that you want to attach to a user/employee.
We're actually building a project management add-on that would probably handle all of this.
We will allow the creation and management of projects, the ability to assign employees to a project, time tracking, and some simple progress invoicing tracking (Contract is $XXXXX.XX, Invoices 1&2 for $XXXX.XX, remainder of $XXXX.XX).
We're still several weeks away as we're trying to wrap up a really large project right now, but I'd be happy to trade you a licence for testing the add-on and some install/uninstall testing with Concrete5. If you're interested, send me a PM and I'll keep you in the loop.

That sounds like a bit too much if you just want to show some employees, but in case you wonder, we already started to build a project management tool a while ago. I haven't commited any changes we've made lately but there's a bit of code herehttp://code.google.com/p/concrete5-project/...
