If I purchase addons, i'll buy several.... When c5 releases another version, what happens to my addons? will they work? if the developer updates the block, will I receive it?

We're working on an updates routine right now that does a better job noticing and applying changes in block versions. If you are running a newer version of concrete5 than an add-on is for, it should continue to work.
