I have written over the Members Page that was included in the original install of c5. How do I get the original functionality of that page back with out loosing the information I have on the member page I have created?

When you say overwritten, do you mean you have uplaoded a new PHP script that overwrote the main C5 members page?

Or have you deleted the members page, and then created a new one through the Dashboard Sitemap?

I don't think I deleted it. I just created a new page in the dashboard with the same path. The original single page was still there and has the same code, but I can't add it back since the path is already being used by my new page.

If you go to the properties of the new members page you created, and change the path to members_new - then see if you have access.

You might need to restore the original page - just follow this hot to:http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/editors/restore-a-de...

That worked. I wish there were a way to rename that original members page to memberlist or something like that so that my Members page can remain the same (Plus, everyone is used to going to /members to log in to access members only information).

You can create your own singles page and upload that.

How to:http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/developers/pages/single-page...

Yes, but all the searches that need the members page link would have to be changed to look for say /memberlist.php.

I was meaning create your own members.php single page and upload that - this will be used instead of the default one and you get the /members/ url

I ended up recreating the original members.php and added the info I needed above the list of members. Now I still have my search capabilities.
