Merge two sites

We have two different sites -- both use the same theme, but have different content (but many of the page ids would be the same). Now we need to merge these into one site (without overwriting and losing content). Any suggestions on how to do this?
I may not understand the depth of your problem but I dont think this is possible. Perhaps an iFrame?
There seem to be ideas on how to "backup" a website and "restore" the website -- using this technique for moving an entire site from one server to another for example. In this case we have need to add pages (this would include blocks, images, text, etc on each page) from one website and merge it with another.
As tallacman mentioned, it's not possible to merge two sites. The best advice I can offer is to open each site in separate browser windows and cut 'n paste content from the old site to new site.
