Migration to Concrete5
Permalink
I've managed to create a script to migrate old data to concrete. The news section has 3 subsections with 6000+ pages in one of them.
The problem now is whenever I expand any of the sections in site map the server will timeout and Apache will crash.
Is there anyway I can just disable the AJAX functionality of the site map and similar functions and just use normal page listing with pagination?
This is a blocker issue and I'd really be sad not to use Concrete5 after all this effort.
The site I'm migrating is here:

I increased the PHP memory_limit to 256M and it's a little better. It take around 20 - 25 seconds (with the browser warning about a script taking a long time) to expand the list. When I collapse it.. boom!
tried Opera and it's much better. I'll try Chrome and Safari to see.
Never the less, I still see it a valuable option to either have a non-AJAX interface or paginated.
I'm willing also to consider this a paid job and make it available for the community.
Do you need me to send a request through the Professional Services request form?

that being said, I've used the sitemap with thousands of items at a node level before and while not blisteringly fast i can typically get it to work. have you tried a different browser?
