Misleading lack of * for forms
Permalink
Working though C5, it's obvious the developers have been pretty thorough in terms of getting everything right.
To nit pick from a user perspective though (because they will!) . . .
When filling out a "Site Registration" form there are obviously some defaults which are needed - Email (or user name) and confirm password.
However, there attributes are not default set with a required *.
So, if you start adding attributes which are required lower down the list, they all have required * with them, but the uber critical emails and passwords are not included.
It's not critical, but everything else is very slick with C5 - so this is probably something which could be fixed from a usability perspective.
Unless, of course, there is an option for this I've just not found yet . . .
Later added: The drop down box option in the form also seems to insist on providing a **None option as default. Would it not be better to have an option to specify the default selection?
