Moving Installation Directory

Hi,

I've been building my Concrete5 website in a sub directory "developer" and I want to move everything to the root folders.

Before I make a complete hash of it can anyone help me please?

Please make it step by step and simple instructions

Check in (root)/config/site.php and see if the Base URL points to yoursite.com or yoursite.com/developer. If it points to developer, make it only yoursite.com. You should also make sure the domain is pointing to the correct directory on your web server (sounds like you are experiencing problem #1 though).
