Could anyone tell me if the information on the following page is applicable to 5.6.3.1? I would like to leave the index page that is already in the public folder and just move everything from the new/ folder up to public/ once we're done building the site.

Since it's 4 years old and they mention 5.5+ I would like to make sure it is correct before I assume it will work.

Edited to add that we haven't installed Concrete5 yet, but we like what we've seen so far and the plan was to install it to a new/ directory and then move it up once the website was built.
