Moving the site.

Hello,
I currently have the site I am working on in a sub folder to the root directory.
http://acachurch.com/concrete5.3.2...
The client is currently adding content to the site. Once they are done we will need to move all the data to the root directoryhttp://acachurch.com
I have read the instructions on moving a site. But I am wondering if there is another way since I am not moving servers, just switching folders??

I am afraid that is not possible. Unfortunately, I believe that you have to follow those instructions, even if you are just moving between folders.
Why are you resurrecting a thread from 2009?
Besides, switching directories is as easy as moving the files and changing the rewritebase in .htaccess.
