Multiple Block Lightbox

Hello All,
I am looking for a way to make multiple blocks pop up as one light box. the blocks include a Content Block, an Image Block, and a Form Block all at once. I have seen this on a few different sites however I know that they aren't using concrete5. this needs to be able to be edited and recreated as it will be done about 5+ times a day. any Ideas????

Here is the link to one of the sites that I have seen it on. Click the more details link to see what I mean

Try the fancybox links add-on.

It basically allows you to display the content of a page within a fancybox.

So you could set up a page with your image/content/form-block just as you wish and link to it from anywhere else.

Now when you use the fancybox add-on, you will add the class "fancybox_links" to the block which contains the link, it will open inside a fancybox. You can style this in any way possible.

But play around with the size of the edit dialog of fancybox, it seems to have a glitch and not all options are visible. I always alter it with firebug to make the checkboxes visible.

I am very sure this can be done.

Here's the link to it:

I have used it in many cases.

I have played around with this too, my only concern to this, is that it is being used for properties on a realtor's site, so there could be 30-50 properties on a page making there a lot of extra pages doing it the way that you said

True. But I suppose the work needs to be done anyway.

On the other hand, doing it with fancybox_links would also provide you a fallback if for any reason JQuery does not work (deactivated in browser) because in this case - the user would just be redirected to the page but end up seeing the info anyway.

Don't know if you could achieve this in an easy way though... If 5+ Items per day are created, it sure should be an easy process.

What would be different on each page? Content and Images but Form always the same?

close, content and images would be different and the same form layout would be the same, however I would need to be able to have a custom name for every form.
The point of the form is to send the home office a name, email, and phone, telling them that this person wants more information on a certain property.

Ok, so you need to create all those three blocks new each time or at least adjust them to deliver the right content.

I don't know, I'd stick to the fancybox-links method anyway. The work of creating the content, imagegalleries and form for each property would be necessary to be done anyway and with this method your would have a fallback and static URL to link to for people who cannot see the fancybox for any reason. The extra work is just pointing the link to the "new" page each time one is created.

The main reason why I started playing with this addon was, because all the others did not work well at that time.

Together with "the Void" theme and some styling, this was easy to apply. I believe your main challenge is to create the setup process as easy as possible.

Maybe the "Magic Data" add-on of JohntheFish can help something here, but I am really not sure here.

I just tested on one of my sites and the fancybox_links method works also on autonavs or pagelists, if the class name is applied.

So you could safe the time of setting up the links manually, just add new pages under of page type "offer", style this with the void and display them automatically with a custom designed page list block.

Thats how I would to it, but I just dont see another easy way to safe time in the setup process of each new page.

Just had an idea to save at least a step:

Use "Formidable" for the Form.

I mostly like it for the option of personalized confirmation emails, but it also gives the option to display some more information in the mailing, like the URL of the page.

So if you would set up new pages for each offer, having individual URLs by that, your customer could identify each form submission by that and would no longer need to alternate the form for each offer. You set it up once and put it into the page as a default block.

Don't know about your budget for the project, but for 40$ your customer can have personalized emails and safe one step in the setup of new offers. But this of course only works, if all the offers have their pages.
