Multiple file uploads

Don't bite my head off, please, I *did* search (for the past hour) for this answer. I have 104 .pdf files to upload for a site I'm building using Concrete5. I'm working on the page and when I click "add files" I can choose *one* file at a time. There seems to be no way to choose multiples. I'd rather not do this 103 more times, but nothing obvious is working and there seems to be no simple answer to that simple question to be found using the search feature. Surely there is a simple solution?

Yes. you can upload multiple files at once. YOu may have a max-size per upload limit but if not just drag your pdfs to the file manager in 5.7 or click upload multiple in 5.6 et al.

Drag and drop does not seem to be an option. Clicking "Multiple Uploads" does nada. I'm unable to select the multiple files. Wound up uploading them individually (just finished), but still curious to the alternative, which MUST exist.

If you click the "Upload Files" link in the Dashboard -> File Manager you can hold the CTRL key in the file selector to choose multiple files and upload them all at once.

If this doesn't work for you, can you tell us what version you are working with and what exactly happens when you try to do this?

Bear with me, I am not a professional. I'm not able to find the version info, but I believe I'm up to date with that being offered by my ISP, which would be 5.6.2.1

When I attempt to grab multiple files using either shift or command (ctrl), only the first file is selected.

My apologies, I thought you were using 5.7 in 5.6 you have to click the "Upload Multiple" button in the Dashboard -> File Manager and the "Add Files" link will only show up if you have Flash installed (or you are using Chrome) but that should let you choose multiple files to upload as I described holding CTRL.

Okay. I will try chrome to see (using Safari). I have a feeling it may also be due to a setting on my ISP control panel. Thank you very much for the information, though, I'll try it this evening.
