Multiple Sites with XAMPP

Hello,
I have just started using Concrete5 and am working with a tutorial to set up a new site. My question is if I am working on multiple sites at a time for different clients, how do I do that if I'm using XAMPP as my local testing server? I tried creating a new directory for each site inside of the Concrete5 directory, but when I try to apply a theme, it will only apply it to the index.php file in the root directory. How can I set it up so that I can work on more than one site at once? Thank you.
