My webhost pointed me to Concrete 5

Now it seems that I have to purchase Concrete 5 hosting to get all of my features. Is this true, even though I have a cpanel on with my current host? I really do not want to have to give up concrete 5, but I have already paid for a year of web hosting. I hope I have asked correctly, as I am a beginner in all of this.

As answered on a previous post? No... it is not necessary to purchase hosting from Concrete. It is perfectly OK to upload the full featured C5 to your current host. There is no charge to use, modify etc. Concrete5.
If you would like to use add-ons or themes from the marketplace, you'll find some have a very reasonable charge (well worth paying if you don't, or can't, do custom coding yourself) and an amazing selection are absolutely free to use!

The "Getting Started" page on this site explain this http://www.concrete5.org/about/trial/... in a pretty straightforward "A-B-C manner (see option B)
