Navigation bar text disappears in IE 9

Permalink 1 user found helpful
In my website (http://209.59.147.199/~cementx/) under construction, the nav bar text completely disappears in internet explorer 9. Others in my org w/ IE 8 see it fine. Also, I normally use Chrome, and it renders fine.

Any idea how to fix this? I can't use my site until fixed.

I've attached screen images of IE9 and Chrome, of home page.

Thanks.

perhaps there's a plugin installed on your ie9 that is causing issues? Sometimes 3rd party extensions to browsers mess things up.

Is it just your iE9 or is it everyones ie9?

Hi,
I'm pretty sure I've seen this before. I believe the Cufon script being called up for your Nav text font may be outdated. Check your theme to make sure you are using the most current version/release.

Edit: here's an article I found that addresses this http://www.vfxdude.com/forum/topic/cufon-display-issues-in-ie9-beta...
and there's plenty more to Google

PS. Find the script in your header file concrete/packages/theme_corporateamerica/themes/corporateamerica/elements/header and start looking at about line 24

Crap... I need to think before I type. Instead of the elements/header area, open the /JS folder to update the newest version of Cufon. I believe the newest version will be downloadable fromhttp://cufon.shoqolate.com/generate/...

Thanks! Adreco's last paragraph, after "crap..." was the ticket...simple solution, once I knew what to do. Just love IE!
