Navigation from one auto-nav block showing on other

Hi,
I'm trying to implement having a language switcher and I followed the how-to that was on the site. I have two autonavs in a scrapbook that I made. And I have my navigation set to display any dropdowns I have. When I do this though, for some reason my english menu auto nav is taking my spanish menu auto nav items. Is there a way I can remove the spanish menu nav that is showing on my english one? If I set the display to just show the top level it won't display the spanish ones, but since I have drop down menus I set it to display all.

Have you tried the internationalization add on?http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/internationalization/
I'm testing that out right now, but it looks like it still does the same thing. So right now I've removed the autonavs in the scrapbook, but I still have my navigation looking like the attachment I posted. I think its an issue with displaying a drop down menu but not displaying the items underneath the menu? If that makes any sense
