New page type wont load
Permalink
Morning all,
Okay I've been stuck on this for a while. I hope someone can help.
I made a new php page (services.php) then made a the pagetype of the same name (services).
When I assign the page type to the php page nothing happens, it goes straight to the default page type.

Did you inspect the theme after uploading 'services.php'. New pagetype should appear in the pagelist after it.
I did thanks. I also tested another clean version of Concrete 5.6.0.2 and downloaded the theme loadFoov2 for testing purposes.
In that theme I made a new page named test.php, I then made a pagetype named test and linked the two and still the pagetype doesn't use the new page. It still keeps using the default.
This has to be a fault somewhere with C5

Okay feel stupid but this one really had me stumped. It was the cache, once cleared all appears fine . . .so far.
I didn't realize there was a 'clear cache' setting in the 'systems & setting' section. In fact I didn't realize there was so much in there, it's great!
Thanks again for the feed back
