No error / debug information on screen

Since using 5.5.x i don't have any debug information on screen anymore. even though i do have set the debug level to Show errors in page.

It's very hard programming like this. Please any suggestions.

I have a similar problem trying to get DB queries displayed while debugging AJAX calls I'm writing, debug is 'on' also...

Flippin' awkward!

No matter, I discovered the new 'Database::setDebug(true);' thing which has changed since 5.5.x
