Change "There are no upcoming events." in Calendar Events

Hi there, I'm developing on version 8.5.1 and would like to edit the text that shows on calendar events list when there are no events to show. Right now it says "There are no upcoming events.". I found the location of the events list block but making the changes doesn't seem to affect the content display. Any ideas?

Hello again, I just wanted to post the answer to my question in case anyone else needs to do this. I found that I needed to override the event_list block by adding the customized view to \application\blocks\event_list
