Not able to add Content Block to a Stack
Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi everybody, can someone help with this:
I am not able to put a Content Block in a Stack. If I choose Add block, then Content Block: a new window will open, but the (TinyMCE) editor does not open in that window?!?!
This makes it virtually impossible to build this new site! And since there is no way to copy an existing Block into a stack: I'm stuck!
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Cheers, Maureen

Could it be a browser issue? Did you try a different web browser?
I'm having the same issue, and I've tried in chrome, ff, ie.
I can add every other block to the stack, except for content block.

Thanks to EvanCooper's great help, I've got the problem solved.
Check if the stack-page has a theme assigned to it. Mine did not have that anymore, because I deleted the default theme from insallation.
Assign a theme and it works!
Jope this solves your problem to.

Tried every browser, on Windows and Mac: same thing.
Hi Maureen,
Sounds peculiar. What other kinds of blocks are you including in the stack? I'm just wondering if it's something that could be interfering with the core's JavaScript. It might also be worth clearing the cache to see if it's just something strange lingering in the ether. If that doesn't fix anything, go ahead and PM me your site login information and I will have a look if it's live.

I've just cleared the cache: problem not solved. The same thing happens in every stack, with all different blocks.
I'll PM you.
