Not able to change page paths or to make additional page paths

Hi, we are not able to change or add a page path in the Properties.
It is possible to type it in & hit the Save button. But it's all gone when I look at the properties again.
Can this be a server problem? Not able to make 301-redirects for some reason???
Any idea anyone?
