Overlaping blocks are off in position on some browsers

Needed to layer blocks ot acheive the affect desired with a combination of slideshow and content.

IE and Firefox render the site fine. Mobile devices, safari and google chrome position content boxes from top as oposed to being relative to other boxes.

How do I accomodate for the browsers?
