Override core tool (files/properties)

Hi,

I'm trying to override the /file/properties.php tool from the core but it doesn't seem to listen. I've read the how-to about the name convention, but the properties of the files isn't a packaged tool, so I don't think any think is wrong there...

To be clear, I copied the root/core/tools/files/properties.php to /root/tools/files/properties.php and made some changes in the last file.

I'm using 5.6.1.2

Any help?

You may need to switch off and clear the override cache before the core recognises the override.

I have never used override of a core tool, so there could easily be something more than that involved.

Thank you for taking the time...

I've turned off caching and removed any cached files or content. So that shouldn't be the problem...

The search starts over again...
