override url path

i'm just jumping into c5. and i am used to the MVC structure in code igniter..

in ci, i can easily write a plugin and accessing it by example.com/index.php/my_controller_class/a_function/argument_1/argument_2/

is there a way for me to have the similar approach with c5?
