Overriding Core Files?

Is it possible to override core files like "/concrete/themes/core/dashboard.php?"

For the benefit of Scott and others, you can indeed override dashboard.php (and presumably other core theme files). Just make sure you mirror the directory structure exactly. I done messed up the first time around, which is what prompted my question.

replicate the file structure a level below the concrete folder and report back with your results.
