Package not downloading properly

I've got a couple of packages on the Marketplace and every now and then I get support requests with people saying that they are getting PHP fatal errors due to files not being found.

My best guess is that the package did not download correctly. If this is the case, what is the solution to this problem? Will uninstalling and reinstalling solve the problem, or do they need to fully delete the files through FTP?

If they uninstall the package and also tick the checkbox to remove the package's directory from of the installation directory, that should be enough before downloading and installing it again.
