Package installation not shown?
In version 5.2 I can remember the "Add functionality" page was a little different. It's better now, but where are the packages shown?
Wasn't there a special tab with packages?
Now if I add a new package it shows up on the new version of this page, but after installing.. It's gone. It's installed and working, but just not visible on that page.
The thing is... It's only a controller.php file. No blocks, no single pages, no nothing. Just a controller. It's a service to track people, it just has no output as the output is visible in the (unchanged) user manager.
I just wondered if this was new or changed or missing or whatever, but somehow I can imagine I won't be the only one just adding a controller.
It's would be great if it would just pop-up in the "Add functionality" page as well...
Any thoughts?

This isn't authorative, but my understanding is that eventually there will be the option to uninstall packages from the "Add Functionality" page. I suppose some packages could have configurable settings, and it would be nice if that option appeared as well. Packages at present, however, don't support config/uninstall so there is no option yet.
You are correct that packages used to appear on a second tab, but the interface was changed in 5.3 to help make the whole block/theme/package management process more consistent.

Bump!
I could really use some second opinion.
