Package Uninstall Documentation

From the 5.3.2 Release Notes:
"Support for package uninstall, including auto-uninstall of blocks, pages, etc.. Packages can also define an uninstall() method."
Anyone have any idea where I could start looking into utilizing these new features? I'm not opposed to looking through source (like the install controller), and I would not be opposed to writing up some documentation on it in order to "give back" if it would be helpful.
