have you accepted new pages in workflow ? maybe some group of users new pages needs to be accepted.

I think you also should check if there is attribute "exclude from page list" checked on page type default's in composer.

these are 2 first ideas which came to me. maybe you can post some more details about your permissions/user groups. maybe you have modified the page list's contrller ?

Thanks for your reply. I don't have any workflows setup and I checked all the permission and they are all setup properly.

The strange thing is that the problem is intermittent. I can create a sub page one day and it shows up in the page list, the next day I try another sub page and it won't show up in the page list. Still trying to figure it out.

I've had this as well... seems to be an error with permissions being copied down to new pages sometimes.

Once logged in, go to the page and under the "Edit" button select "Preview as User" and select Guest. I was getting "Unable to view page." as the response, which was weird, but it showed for User "Admin".

I then went to "Permissions" and changed it to "Manual", added the "Guest" group as allowing to "View" and saved and it worked!

The funny thing is that once I went and changed it back to "From Page Type Defaults" (as had been there before) it also stayed working! So there was obviously something borked with the permissions that changing it and changing it back fixed.

Thanks everyone. I think it's working now. I adjusted all the permissions and it seemed to be better. More pages were showing up at least. So, I went ahead and deleted the page list altogether and added a new block. So far, so good.
