The "Public Date/Time" setting within the page properties does not control when the page is visible to the public, it is for reference purposes so that you could show and sort by when the content was created.

You can schedule pages for public view, but this has to be done through advanced page permissions. There's a good discussion about it here:http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/chat/timed-release-of-pag...

If you don't fancy turning on advanced permissions and training users how to manage page permissions, one option is to get them to tick the 'Exclude From Nav' and the 'Exclude From Page List' properties within your page properties and it will hide it from the auto-nav and page lists. They can then untick those properties when they are ready for the page to go public.

i set the time in the page permissions for quest access? is their another place i should do this?

i'm a little confused. i have a start time an end time and also another end end time. if i uncheck the end time the other end time disappears. could you explain what the difference is?

i attached a screen shot. could you explain why their is a to date then a end date. to me it seems like they would be the same unless you were doing repeat, but if your not repeating it would be a from and to date and nothing else??

If you want the page available on, lets say August 7th 2013 from 7am until August 13, 2013 at 9pm...

you would set:

from: 8/7/2013, 7:00 AM
to: 8/13/2013, 9:00 PM

This will show the page from 7am on the first day all the way until the time on the last day.

In your case, any time you check all day and repeat every day, i believe concrete just assumes it was supposed to be available today too?!

you could also set permissions to look like:

from todays date > 8:00 AM
to todays date > 8:00 PM

if you click repeat > every day, the page will then be available from 8am until 8pm every day!!
