Page with multiple articles (summary)

Hi,
I recently started converting my design to a Concrete5 site. My question: how do i make a page like this work? See this image:http://imgur.com/8eQnzEe
So this is a page that gives you a summary of all the articles, see the navigation element below < 1 2 3 4 5 >. When you click on the title or image of that article you go to the page with the full article.
Any ideas how to start on this?

You can then any of
a) create a new view temlate for the block to format and pull in the images
b) use one of the more advanced page list blocks from the marketplace that provides thumbnails. There are many such blocks for 5.6. For 5.7, your choice is more limited.
