Pages added by user not displayed in Auto-Nav

I have the latest version of Concrete 5 and have enabled advanced permissions for the first time so that I can remove many areas of the dashboard for a group I called "Editors"

The "Editors" Group only has access to the Full sitemap and File manager as well as ability to edit the sites pages.

However when someone from the Editors group adds a page it doesn't appear in the auto-nav. If I log back in as an admin the page they created is in the sitemap but still not in the nav! Adding pages as an admin works fine though.

Any ideas?????

Your editors may not be setup to approve pages as they make them. Go into permissions, and ensure that the editor group has approve rights.

An easy way to check if this is the issue is to go to one of the pages an editor has created, and see if you get an approve box in top corner. If you do than they probably have no approval rights.

Yes this has worked!! :-).. Many thanks for this, there appears to be no guide anywhere on how to use advanced permissions properly to lock out the dashboard to user groups.

Problem is now the page that wasn't approved won't seem to delete - get a message saying "marked for deletion" even when logged in as admin.

Have sorted the "Marked for deletion" issue. I literally had to visit the page in question as an admin and then it first prompted me to approve publishing it and then after this to approve deleting it.

Is there anywhere where an admin can see all pages awaiting approval?

Go to your Dashboard, than under Sitemap click Page Search
under page search use the additional filter + key
select approved version then click the unapproved option.
