Paid Membership via Paypal to Download E-Books
Permalink
I have 1 week to get a website up and running... I thought it would be a snap, but I don't seem to see the exact plugin I need.
The whole point of the site is to pay through Paypal to become a "member" which allows access to the e-book downloads section.
This should be automated, I think—in other words, after paying through Paypal, an email should be sent with automatically generated user/password information that allows access to the E-docs section where the new member can download e-books.
Also, any additional sort of protection to keep 1 new member from sharing his username and password with the rest of the world would be nice.
How can I do this?

You could use the Forms With PayPal Payment add-on (http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/forms-with-paypal-payment/). And then, write the password in the receipt email. It may make more sense to simply have a single password (and no username) that everyone uses. My reasoning is that it is easier to deal with technologically, and that the system you described is not truly any more 'secure'. That is, in any system, as soon as someone has the ability to download your e-books they have the ability to share copies.
