Paste HTML problem
Permalink
Hi all,
Sorry I am new to all this, but building is going well. anyway to the problem I have.
I am trying to embed a google calendar, I have the html code and I opened up the block where I wish to place it, I clicked on the html content option and pasted it into the popup window. I then press 'Add' the egg timer came up and remained there.
Is there a gremlin in Concrete5 or my code or am I doing something wrong?
I have posted my code below. Any help would be great please.
<iframe src="https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?showDate=0&showPrint=0&showTabs=0&showTz=0&mode=AGENDA&height=400&wkst=1&bgcolor=%23FFFFFF&src=l7thpnints8n7fm1oe3f0430qc%40group.calendar.google.com&color=%23856508&ctz=Europe%2FLondon" style=" border:solid 1px #777 " width="250" height="400" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>

Have you tried emptying the cache in the dashboard after inserting the html?
Yeh - didn't work. I heard there is a over all html problem with concrete5. I'm on the hunt for more info.
Are you using a content block in html mode, or an html block?
Also, there is a Google docs viewer free add-on. I have not used it, but could it could already do what you want?http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/google-docs-viewer/...

I say server issue, but I might be wrong.
I had to get my hosting people to change lots of things.
Combination of C5, PHP version, usage, etc and hosting company not trying to be being up to date?
They apply it in 2001 and won't change it unless they have to?
Save some money!
Having said that, there a couple of issues the new C5 release...

I have tested your html block code on my server, running the latest version of Concrete5 and it tests fine:

I would say it's on your server side or something within your template which is making it not work.
