Path alias to a file

Hello.
I need some help with this issue. I have just migrated my website from another cms to c5 but I would like to keep some old links working (because of mails, pdfs, etc.). I can get that with alternate urls for any page with c5 but I can not see how to do it with files.
Is this possible?
I'd really appreciate any help.
