Performance slow

Hi
I have a few sites with C5. And all of them takes a while to load. About 5 seconds.
I have seen some sites that load much faster from examples here. And from what I read it was APC that made the difference. But I cant find any good host in Sweden/Europe with APC.

Here are some of the sites. What do you think? Is it normal load time or can it be better on a shared hosting?

APC does help. Media Temple DV will allow for you to configure APC on it.

Also Host Gator's Dedicated Servers will allow for this as well.

I think your sites are slow. But that is just me. I have the same problem from time to time.

Thanks for checking!
I also fin it very slow, so you are not alone.

One strange thing is that if I setup a local site with MAMP and my iMac (a few months old) i get much better performance than from any host I have tried.

I realise that my site is the only one on my computer so it does have an advantage over the hosted ones.
But I still think I should be able to speed it up.

What could be the problem with the hosting?
here is how php is setup

Hi
Do you have any example on C5 site on Hostgator?

I still wonder why mine "binero.se" and "loopia.se" are so slow.

I tested with one "free" webhost.
http://olle.host56.com/

Seems faster than the ones I'm paying for :)

So what could cause the delay in loading with the other ones?

I am also having the same issue. So any information I can provide to figure out how to resolve this issue, I will.
