Permissions effected when duplicating site 5.7
Permalink
Hi I have a series of very similar sites to produce, so I thought i'd make one, then duplicate it, however i copied the files and database, changed the names where I thought appropriate and it mostly seems to be working, however...
I am unable to create new pages, I get the message: access denied, you don't have permission
However I am a super user? also it won't let me publish changes to pages, the left hand slideout is just blank when i try to exit edit mode, any ideas?

Did you turn off the cache and pretty urls before you copied the site? Also, did you delete everything inside of application/files/cache?
Thanks for the reply, i'm wondering if this was just a bad idea, lol
Not sure if its related, but the file manager also doesn't work, it doesn't seem to be able to find the storage location, although this relatively is the same:
Could not convert database value "O:69:\"Concrete\\Cor..." to Doctrine Type object
`FileStorageLocations` (`fslID`, `fslName`, `fslConfiguration`, `fslIsDefault`) VALUES
(1, 'Default', 'O:69:\"Concrete\\Core\\File\\StorageLocation\\Configuration\\DefaultConfiguration\":1:{s:10:\"\\0*\\0default\";b:1;}', 1);

Do you remember exactly what things you changed? It almost seems like either something got changed that shouldn't or something didn't get changed that should
yep I did a find and replace for the two key aspects, calorize and swimmeet, both as case specific searches.
i.e. the db for one is calorize_concrete57 and the other swimmeet_concrete57
the themes are calorize and swimmeet respectively etc...

You say you changed the theme, was the theme already installed when you made those changes? That could cause some really weird errors if it was.
yep it was... oh dear :( ok any suggestions?
