Permissions for a new group in 5.6.0.2

Hi

Adv. Perms is on.

I have a new group, which I want to be able to edit blocks on all my pages. I have given this group all permissions to my pages.

Yet when attempting to add to an area I only get the options, Add Layout and Set Permissions.

If log in as admin I can add Blocks and I can add Stacks, so its nothing to do with the block limit on the area.

If I attempt to change the permissions on the area then it states "The following area permissions are inherited from the page's permissions" suggesting that there is somewhere else I should be looking in order to open up this area for me new group?

But where?

I'm having the same issue, except I'm trying to give my 'subAdmin' group the ability to view the sitemap.

My setup:

{
advanced perms : on,
set perms for 'System Pages' in question: true
}

Even with things set up with what I think is correct I get the following error when signed on as 'subAdmin' and go to sitemap page.

"You do not have access to the sitemap."

in dashboard look under blocks and stacks, edit Block and Stack permissions, add your group to both blocks and stacks, don't forget to save and save results.
