PHP Mysql and Forum Question

Hi,

I have a website built using the Concrete5 CMShttp://www.whatisacnc.com . I am wondering if there is any real trick to building a few forms and have them work with the same database as Concrete5. I can make my own Forum and have on my home WAMP, but ideally I would like to use a CMS just for the Forum and have the same user information from the Concrete5 database. Can anyone help me with this?

In a nut shell I would like to have a Forum along with my website so any help setting one up would be great.
I am also wondering if there are any good SEO tools for Concrete5

Thanks for all your help,

Rob fromhttp://www.whatisacnc.com

hey,
first, a disclaimer. I am the author of both of these add ons
in terms of a forum,http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/vanilla-forums/... will offer what you want. it is free, and integrates withhttp://vanillaforums.org/ using the same user base for the forum+c5 and using sso.
In terms of seo, concrete5 has some powerful seo tools built in by the page properties of meta title, meta description, and meta keywords. If you need more help though/want to automatize the process more,http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/seo-manager/... may help. it is a paid add-on, but isn't incredibly expensive ($15)
