Possible to move scrapbook blocks into another scrapbook?

I have the need to move some blocks that exist in one scrapbook into a new scrapbook. Is there a way to do this without losing the instances of the scrapbook blocks on existing pages? Manually changing the relationships in the database is an acceptable option if that's possible.

One way is to edit a page, copy block from the original scrapbook, then copy to new scrapbook.

Once the block(s) are copied, you can exit edit mode and discard changes.
